Adidas set out to find a fun and engaging way to connect with baseball fans in Boston and Los Angeles for the World Series’ 2018. So, OA strategically placed beautifully branded & eye-catching vending machines (filled with custom, limited release Adidas products) in very busy sports bars near the stadiums. The premiums were only released through exclusive codes hidden in social media posts when athletes achieved certain feats (got on base, hit a home run, got multiple strikes, etc,). this not only created millions of impressions through social sharing, it also saw fans lined up over 3 city blocks (through all 18 innings).
